Kannawidan Ylocos Festival is yearly celebrated in Ilocos Sur through the Ilocano
People showcase cultural shows, native products and the talents of the
Ilocanos. This Festival became an annual festival that aims to create awareness
on the preservation of the province practices and traditions.

the name Kannawidan Ylocos Festival is also a tribute of the anniversary of
Ilocos Sur as a province. This festival is very significant to every resident
of the province of Ilocos Sur by the virtue of the Royal Decree signed last February
2,1818 separating Ilocos Sur from Ilocos Norte.
Kannawidan means traditions and this province of Ilocos Sur got to
showcase all what she has. This festival is such a great help in improving and
promoting the Ilocano Culture and Traditions.
